FinDocAnalyzer is an educational tool, not investment advice. Nothing on this platform is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Always verify figures against the original source document and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Product & usage
1. What is FinDocAnalyzer?
An educational tool that reads the financial-report PDFs you upload and produces plain-language summaries, extracted metrics, and period comparisons. It helps you understand a report faster — it is not a research desk.
2. What document types can I upload?
Annual reports, quarterly reports, earnings filings, and similar company financial statements (PDF). We extract text, metrics, and comparisons from them.
3. Which currencies and number formats do you handle?
INR, USD, EUR and others via ISO codes. We understand lakh, crore, million, billion, and unit/thousand scales, so both Indian and global reports work.
4. Which languages are supported?
English and Hinglish today.
5. Can I compare two reports or export the results?
Yes. You can compare two periods or companies side by side, generate shareable content kits, and export results. Exports auto-expire after 7 days.
Accuracy & advice
6. Is this investment, legal, or tax advice?
No. FinDocAnalyzer is educational only. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created.
7. How accurate are the summaries and extracted metrics?
They are generated by AI and may contain errors or omissions. Always verify figures against the original source document before relying on them.
8. Why don't I see buy/sell or price-target style output?
By design. A safety filter blocks recommendations, price targets, and valuations so the tool stays educational and compliant.
Data, privacy & security
9. Do you train AI models on my documents?
No. The text extracted from your uploads is sent to the AI provider you have selected (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or AWS Bedrock) under no-training / zero-retention settings where available, governed by Data Processing Agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Who can see my uploaded files?
Only you and your workspace members. Vetted sub-processors (AI providers, cloud hosting, email delivery) process the minimum necessary data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. How long do you keep my data?
You choose. By default we keep your reports until you delete them or close your account. In your workspace Data settings you can switch to automatic deletion 90 days after upload. Exports expire after 7 days. The audit log is retained longer but anonymized on erasure.
12. How do I delete my account or my data?
Email findocanalyzer@gmail.com. You can also delete individual reports anytime, and close your account to remove everything.
Account & availability
13. Is it free?
Yes during the public beta. Paid plans will be published here when launched.
14. Who can use it?
People 18 or older. It is not for regulated financial advisers to deliver advice to clients through the tool.
15. Which countries can I use it from?
Anywhere. The service is operated from India and governed by Indian law, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
16. How do I get help or report an issue?
Email findocanalyzer@gmail.com.
